Jive Honored to Accept the "Live United" Award for Christmas Service

Bill Hulterstrom recently presented Jive with the Live United appreciation award for our participation in the Sub-for-Santa initiative, which helps thousands of children in Utah County each year.

Over 50 Jive employees donated their time and money to help provide books, toys, clothes, and other holiday items to children in the local community. This was a great way to spread holiday cheer and make the season a little more bright for those in need.

Jive initially volunteered to help 200 kids in the local community, but with so many staff willing to contribute, as well as Jive’s generous dollar-for-dollar match on donations that staff contributed on their own, Jive was able to bring Christmas joy to over 5,100 children.

Participating in this activity in the weeks leading up to Christmas was one of the highlights of the year for many of us here at Jive. We are grateful to the United Way for helping us fulfill our personal and corporate commitment to be active participants in bettering the community. Jive was announced as United Way’s biggest sponsor in Utah County for the 2013 season.

We are grateful to the generous staff at the United Way and all they do in various endeavors to improve education, financial stability, and promote healthy lives. It may have been our first year of sponsorship, but the United Way was extremely kind to recognize our efforts. We hope we can inspire and encourage other members of our community to remember families in need throughout the year. There are many opportunities provided by local churches and charities to be of service and we invite everyone to participate in these.

Sign up to give funds, be an advocate, or find volunteer opportunities at their Utah County site, or their general site.
