Jive Sponsors Women in the Channel Event
Jive Communications has joined as an official Gold sponsor of the 9th Annual Women in the Channel Networking and Enrichment Event. It will be held on Sunday, March 15th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Mandalay Bay / Islander G &H Rooms. Our Channel Account Manager, Cristina Morrell, who sits on the Women in the Channel Planning Committee, will be representing Jive at the event. Other Jive representatives will also include Alissa Goodman, Karie Huzzey, and Stephanie Bowers.
The Women in the Channel event is being held as a kick off to the Channel Partners Conference and Expo, a conference dedicated to bringing together VARs, agents, MSPs and SIs from across the country to learn more about the latest big ideas, solutions and outcomes in the channel. As with every WiC event, this volunteer organized evening will kick-off with cocktails and networking, followed by educational sessions and Women in the Channel updates.
Regarding Jive’s participation as a sponsor, Cristina Morrell said, “Jive is a cutting edge company and this opportunity for us to support women in technology is heavily supported by our corporate leadership. They embrace every aspect of this group. If you are not yet a member of Women in the Channel, I highly recommend taking advantage of the mentoring and networking opportunities that are here. I became part of this organization almost two years ago and have had nothing but success in growing my business since joining. The synergies between our members are truly moving the needle on how women influence where our technology is going in the future.”
You can join Christina and the rest of the Jive team at booth #937 where she will be facilitating discussions about big technological advances and wins in the channel.
Jive’s Channel Managers with Women in the Channel Leadership
Established in 2010, Women in the Channel’s mission is collaboration through identity and relationships to grow business. WiC is a grassroots organization made up of women in leadership, ownership, and revenue generating roles in the alternate sales channel sector of the telecommunications industry. Month after month, these women are responsible for generating sales for their companies and providing for their families. WiC members are wives, mothers, and sisters, and a high percentage of them are the main breadwinners in their families. As the telecomm industry changes and expands, WiC seeks to ensure that the number of women involved matches that growth.
The evening’s Keynote Speaker will be SaaSMAX CEO Dina Moskowitz. Her dynamic dialogue is designed to help you uncover new business and career opportunities. You can expect to gain insight on successfully leading your team, customers, and the channel through the Cloud-based revolution.
