Award recognizes Jive Voice and Jive Safety Suite for delivering quality Unified Communications solutions to businesses.

Jive Communications was recently named a silver winner for Most Innovative Product of the Year for Education in the Best in Biz Awards. Jive Voice with Jive Safety Suite was recognized for its coordinated emergency response and Unified Communications and Collaboration capabilities. The Best in Biz Award is the only independent business awards program judged each year by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications in North America.

Jive Voice with Jive Safety Suite enables districts across the country to upgrade school safety without an expensive overhaul, seamlessly integrating a school’s phone and paging systems to coordinate a school-wide emergency response. Endpoints like panic buttons that immediately connect you to emergency services can also be utilized within the system to keep schools safer and more secure.

Each year, Best in Biz Awards’ entrants span the spectrum, from some of the most recognizable global brands to the most innovative local startups. The 8th annual program proved to be a particularly tough competition, garnering close to 700 entries across 70 different categories, from an impressive array of public and private companies of all sizes and from a variety of geographic regions and industries in the U.S. and Canada.

“Our goal at LogMeIn and Jive has been to simplify communications systems and drive new and better solutions for businesses,” said Mike Sharp, Vice President of Product Development for Jive at LogMeIn. “For our Education and Public Sector customers, stakeholder safety and preparedness is paramount. Jive Voice with Jive Safety Suite gives our customers the tools and capabilities they need to manage this critical priority.”

Since 2011, winners in Best in Biz Awards have been determined based on scoring from independent judging panels deliberately composed each year of prominent editors and reporters from some of the most respected newspapers, TV outlets, and business, consumer, technology and trade publications in North America. Structured in this unique way, Best in Biz Awards is able to best leverage its distinguished judges’ unparalleled expertise, experience and objectivity to determine award winners from among the hundreds of entries. The 2018 judging panel included, among others, writers from the Associated Press, Consumer Affairs, Forbes, Inc., New York Post, and Wired.
