Jive and LogMeIn Join Forces on UCC —What It Means for Our Customers

The Jive story began with a simple premise: make enterprise-grade communication easy, make it accessible to businesses of all sizes, and make it work the way modern workers do. Jive was born in the cloud.  We grew up in an era where the workplace was defined by the worker, not the office.  Our products were shaped by people who had cut their teeth in Software, Mobile and the Web. And our success story was built on our customers’ success, on how communication drove their business.  Today, I’d like to officially welcome you to the next chapter in the Jive story, and our journey together as growing businesses.

Today, Jive and LogMeIn (Nasdaq: LOGM) formally joined forces as we closed an acquisition announced in February. The deal brings together the two great teams and technology behind Jive’s cutting-edge Unified Communications (UC) offerings and LogMeIn’s market leading collaboration portfolio, which includes the likes of GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, and join.me.

So what does this mean for Jive and our customers?

The Jive products you’ve come to love and trust will remain key, individual parts of the LogMeIn portfolio, and they will continue to be built, sold and serviced by the same great people.

And these great products will now be complemented with the most modern, scalable and innovative Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) portfolio on the market today – a portfolio where best-in-class Unified Communications products are paired with best-in-class Collaboration products to serve even more of our customers’ most pressing needs.
